Certain characters are displayed in the MicroStation text dialog when a non-English keyboard is used or the ALTnnn method is used. These characters can be printed by Bentley Advanced Map Finishing.
The ALTnnn method requires you to:

Activate the numeric keypad by pressing Num Lock, if not already activated.

Hold down the Alt key and type a one to three digit code on the numeric key pad, then release the Alt key.
